Playa Miami is a beautiful beach between the Tacarigua Lagoon National Park and the Caribbean Sea. Located in Miranda State on the northern coast of Venezuela This paradisiacal beach is over 30 kilometers long. Be prepared to spend the whole day. The remote area enjoys a nudist section, where nudism has been practiced regularly for more than 20 years. Mangrove forests grow on the shores and form dense islands in the lagoon cover approximately 4,000 ha of the park. The lagoon's main fresh water source is the Guapo River, although the Pirital, SanNicolás, San Ignacio canals and the Chaguaramal stream also drain into it. A mouth in the lagoon'snorthwestern sector connects the ocean with the lagoon. The climate is warm and humid with an average annual temperature of 26 °C. This beautiful place is very secluded with very little foot traffic, the chances are you will probably have this idyllic spot all to yourself! This is perhaps the best known beach, perhaps because of its relative proximity to Caracas and because it is very private. You get to the Tacarigua Lagoon and there you take a peñero that takes you to Miami Beach, in an inn called Tortuga Lodge. From there, you have to walk a few minutes on foot, to get a more isolated area, where the nudists meet.
