The Baggersee Burkheim is located in the Rheinwald in Baden-Württemberg on the border to France on the Rhine. Set within a beautiful location in the middle of the forest, behind the Rhine dam you can find a few swimming spots, which are suitable for nude bathing.
The water quality is very good and there is a shaded sunbathing lawn that stretches along the north and west banks, and a sandy section next to the facilities. Parking is available directly on the lake. It is open from May-Sep (depending on weather conditions) access to the lake is possible until 20:30.
