The versatile Berendonck recreation area is located in Wijchen. There are many beach areas. On the southern side of the Berendonck. Nude recreation is only allowed on the designated beach. Since the 2019 beach season, the Berendonck has an officially designated nudist beach.
The beach is open with a beautiful view over the lake. It is very quiet and relaxed. There are a sandy beach and a lawn. A few meters outside the beach, the bank slopes steeply. There are toilets and there is an outdoor shower.
By means of signage it is indicated where the nudist beach starts and ends. As soon as you leave the beach and the sunbathing areas, you should be dressed. It is situated within a natural forest area with meadows. This very natural area is mainly made up of wooded areas with a few grass fields. The swim water is accessible via several hedge clearings.
There are children's play areas and a sandy beach on the textile area. Accessible 365 days a year from sunrise to sunset. Access to the recreation area is free.
