The beach of the Old New, also called "beach of the salins", is the westernmost beach of Gruissan. Remaining wild, it will delight lovers of sport and nature.
This beach is undoubtedly the wildest beach of Gruissan. The nature in the surroundings which consists mainly of dunes and natural space saved is absolutely superb. The beach of La Vieille Nouvelle is very extensive, the water is clean and clear and the sand very fine. The density of bathers is very low.
Naturism is tolerated. As this is the windiest spot of the Mediterranean - swimming is not recommended.
