Tumbledown Bay is a great area facing south on the peninsula near Little River. Sandy and tidal with a small river running in to the sea. When the tide goes out, it's shallow for a long way. On a good southerly this is a great surfing area.
No shelter from the sun, so bring a umbrella. Due to its location, it is not used by many, it is reported to be used for the occasional skinny dip.
