Located on the east coast from Whangarei. Ocean beach is an astonishingly beautiful 6km white sand beach.Bounded by sand dunes and surging coast beyond. Surfing, body boarding, beach combing, you can walk north for hours.

The nude area is to the left of the main section of the beach by the car park. Head up to the north end of the beach (left) and climb over the small headland you may see the odd fisherman, there is little else in this beautiful area.
