This white sand beach separates the rainforest from the reef. Box jellyfish are in these waters during the summer months. Sheltered between 2 headlands, the sand is powder soft and white. The backdrop of the rainforest from the sea is breathtaking.
A superb series of beaches separated by rocky outcrops and headlands. The first beach, near the carpark, has a small creek running through it and the widest area of sand above high tide. This is where most people stay. The headland to the north is easy to cross as there is a rough path at the back. The second beach is smaller and usually deserted.
The next headland is difficult to cross without good footware. The third beach is the smallest and is bisected by low rocks. It is also widely known as a "clothing optional" beach, long may that last. All are stunning beaches on a fine day and offer good shade from the surrounding rainforest.
