Golden Budha Beach is situated on the west coast, in the pristine area of Koh Phra Thong.The golden sand beach of Golden Budha stretches for 12 kilometers and is fringed by coconut trees.
The pristine beach remains one of the few nesting sites left in Thailand for giant leather-back turtles. Topless bathing is quite the norm here, but there are plenty of quiet spots should you want to bare all. If you happen to stay at one the resort's on the beach, simply cover up if any of their staff members should happen to pass in your direction. The remote island remains barely inhabited and gloriously un-spoilt.
